It is our goal to make Christian education a viable alternative for children (K-12th grade) in High Point and surrounding cities. We intend to enable families who seek a quality Christian school environment with financial assistance. The purpose of the Scholarship Fund is to supplement the funds needed for a student's tuition in grades K-12th grade at Hayworth Christian School. The funds may not be applied to Registration or other fees.
Families desiring need-based assistance are encouraged to complete a Scholarship Application after February 1st. Families also have to complete a financial assessment application with FACTS titled the FACTS Grant Aid & Assessment. It is the applicant’s responsibility to pay all fees associated with FACTS. Awards are given only after a family has registered, been accepted to HCS, completed the Scholarship Application, and the FACTS Grant Aid & Assessment. Therefore, new families desiring tuition assistance are strongly urged to submit applications ASAP to allow for sufficient time to complete the admissions process.
All financial information submitted is confidential and is only shared with the Board's Scholarship Committee. A scholarship application must be submitted each year that scholarship monies are requested. In case of extenuating circumstances, a late application may be considered at the discretion of the board. The applications submitted by the deadline have first consideration.
Re-enrolling families receive priority consideration through May 1st, afterwards all tuition assistance applications are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
